According to Outsell Inc., a market research and advisory company, time spent on information tasks is rising. Information task time now averages 13 hours per week, compared to 11 hours two years ago.1 The “infoglut” that is brought on by the web contributes to this problem and has created organizational inefficiencies resulting in reduced productivity. Organizations need help filtering this input while simultaneously receiving consistent, accurate, real-time and in-context intelligence about new opportunities, competitive threats and market events.

Generate’s G2 solution identifies mission critical change events in real-time and alerts users of these targeted opportunities. Generate G2 qualifies leads and opportunities with current and comprehensive business intelligence on millions of companies and executives, saving employees time and increasing efficiency. Generate’s personalization technology allows Generate G2 users to leverage patented relationship mapping (social networking) features to show the user how they are connected to executives, companies and events.

“We were looking for a solution that could dramatically impact the way we manage our customers and accelerate new opportunities.” says Brad Humphries, leadership partner in the retail group at Accenture. “Generate’s G2 solution does just that by providing actionable opportunities, in-context business information, and relationship mapping between the outside world and within and among the firm. Generate’s technology allows our team to be more efficient and focus on creating value for our customers. In the end, that’s what it’s all about.”

Generate’s G2 technology includes the following features:

Opportunity Events & Triggers – Generate G2 collects, categorizes and delivers, in real time, thousands of discrete market and business events that have historically indicated a company is likely to buy products or services.

Company & Executive Intelligence Database – Millions of deep company and executive profiles are contextually integrated into Generate’s G2 interface to support an intuitive research experience using Generate’s patented internet crawling technology.

Competitive, Client, & Prospect News Monitoring – Allows users to track competitive, prospect, client or partner news from a dynamically updated news database in real-time to gain a competitive advantage.

Patented Relationship Mapping Technology – Each opportunity is mapped to the user’s personal and company network profile and Generate’s Executive Intelligence Database to visually represent the user’s degree of separation (first, second, and third degree) from target executives or companies.

“Our goal is to empower the business professional.” said Tom Aley, president and CEO of Generate. “Our technology delivers customized information in real time. Business professionals no longer have to view multiple sites, sift through numerous publications and read an abundance of articles in order to identify and qualify targeted opportunities. Generate G2’s technology allows users to be much more efficient by delivering customized information and showing them how to connect to each opportunity.”

Generate combines the benefits of multiple existing content tools into one easy-to-use solution. Generate’s G2 is designed to help Global 2000 companies, including financial services, high tech, professional services and executive search firms. Generate G2 is available as a hosted, ASP-based subscription service. Pricing starts at $3,000 per seat for an annual subscription service.
